FAQs
Good to know.
The things we get asked most. Can’t see your question? Drop us a line and we’ll get straight back to you.
Where do I find you?
We are on the corner of Overstone Road and Clare Street, Northampton NN1 3JL. Step-free access into the café.
Do you supply cafés, restaurants and offices?
We do. Wholesale customers across Northamptonshire receive fresh sourdough, tin loaves, focaccia, pastries and cakes delivered in our van, Tuesday to Saturday. Minimum order applies.
Do you cater for events?
We cater everything from breakfast meetings to weddings, funerals and community lunches. Get in touch with rough numbers and a date and we’ll build a menu around you.
Can I order bread in advance?
Yes – order online through our shop for collection, or drop us an email for larger requests. Weekend loaves go quickly, so a pre-order is the safest way to bag your favourite.
Are dogs welcome in the café?
Always. Well-behaved dogs are part of the family – there’s a water bowl by the door. We don’t have doggy biscuits but we do make doggy breakfasts (scrambled eggs and sometimes a bit of sausage if there’s any going spare).
How does the social enterprise side work?
The Good Loaf is a Community Interest Company. Every loaf, coffee and catering order helps fund training, employment and support for women in Northampton – many with experience of the criminal justice system.
